Throughout our process, there is a delicate dance between pushing boundaries and maintaining timelessness. Our aim is to create celebrations that exude novelty while upholding sophisticated hospitality - rebellious and refined. Entrusting us with their vision, Mikaela and Andrew wanted a wedding that embodied their reverence for fashion-forward aesthetics with time-honored sensibilities. In turning to the philosophy and work of John Lautner, we brought to life a celebration that explores edges and shapes; flirts with negative space; and harmonizes with its architectural and natural surroundings.
The Sheats-Goldstein Residence is a prime example of organic architecture. Nestled in a lush jungle landscape, the home naturally emerges from the hillside. Our design for the ceremony was inspired by this marriage between building and nature.
I strive to create spaces that are both functional and poetic, that inspire and delight.
