In our practice, hospitality is the art of loving, appreciating, and caring for your guests. Amidst the rise of micro-weddings, one key silver lining emerged: a recalibration of what truly mattered in weddings. Freed from the pressures of performative trends and flashy decor, couples found themselves grounded in a simple, yet profound goal: “we just want to marry each other.” Our couples, robbed from the usual joys of wedding planning, experienced a different euphoria that was liberating: planning on their own terms. Mushrooms became whimsical, moody centerpieces; coffee fortune tellers redefined the nightcap experience; mini caricature sketches invited guests to their seats; and shag cakes had a lot to say. We celebrate life’s important moments with our loved ones because they are opportunities to express our deep affection for them, irrespective of event extravagance or scale. This is the true meaning of hospitality.
