Space has many definitions. It encompasses physical surroundings; the vast expanse of the universe; and even the intricate landscapes of emotion. In event planning, the choice of space is paramount, setting the stage for every aspect of the process. When tasked with planning a wedding that celebrates space itself (in this case, our couple's love for Los Angeles), we were inspired to reimagine its significance. We expanded space’s definition beyond mere venue selection to the places that catalyze love stories. The result was a wedding that evolved into a love letter to the city - weaving together cherished landmarks; cultural points of interest; beloved culinary landscapes; and even its trademark traffic.
